We, Angelika and Frank Schauf, are two German photographers, who, on the following pages, present our photography work from the areas of architecture photography, landscape photography and wildlife photography. Our fascination with these areas of photography, with all of their colors and shapes, in some instances makes our pictures look abstract, and creative in others. Today’s technological possibilities during the editing process of our photos play a big role in this as well.
Of all of these areas of photography, wildlife photography makes up the largest portion of our work. The beauty of wildlife and experiencing ever new scenes and situations, this is what makes wildlife photography so fascinating to us.
Much of our wildlife photography work is created on the North Sea coasts of the Netherlands and Germany, as well as on the North Sea islands of both of these countries. Portugal, which excels in biodiversity, also belongs to our preferred working areas. Most of our work, however, is created in Florida, USA. With its unique lighting moods, impressive wildlife, and local conditions, Florida is our favorite working area.
Some of our projects we work on for years, always on the lookout for further improvements, as for example with our Great Crested Grebe project.
Take the time to browse through the various galleries and projects. In this way you will get a glimpse into our photo archive and maybe share our enthusiasm for these areas of photography.
